Paris Versailles

Discovery of the Paris Pedestrian Rally

Paris Versailles

Competing with Marseille Cassis, but not having its charm, it is a pedestrian rally of nearly 25,000 people over 16 km. People come here for the atmosphere and the pleasure of running on an exceptional route, 7 km of flat terrain, the rest of which goes up, up, up, in the Meudon forest, then down to Viroflay and then up again to Versailles with a fantastic finish on the wide Boulevard de Paris.

It is a race popular with company committees who come to compete for the challenge of the largest number.

This race is ideal for starting out in running and testing oneself on a distance of more than 10 km. Others come to fine-tune their training for other running events such as the Paris 20 km race (2-3 weeks later) or the Marseille Half-Marathon (end of October). Due to its success, this pedestrian rally welcomes a large number of people, so it's better to have obtained a preferential bib beforehand if you want to achieve a good time.
