Cap Canaille, which stands at 399 meters above the Mediterranean Sea, can be reached via the Route des Crêtes (Crests Road).

On the east side is the "Bec de l'Aigle" with its puddingstone rock and the "Calanque de Figuerolles" (Figuerolles Cove). On the west side is the town of Cassis and its famous "Marseille Cassis" race. Cap Canaille is visible during the descent from the Col de la Gineste, once you pass Carpiagne.
The summit is called "La Grande Tête" and stands at 399 meters.
