What are the Super Randonneur brevets, what are the deadlines to be respected according to the distances. From 200 to 600 km, what are the ways to participate in these brevets, who organizes them?
The Super Randonneur's brevets are organized all over the world and are certified by the Audax Club Parisien (ACP). They allow for qualification to the Paris-Brest-Paris event, which takes place at the end of August every four years.
These Brevets de Randonneurs Mondiaux represent a total distance of 1,500 km. Successfully completing all of these brevets allows for the request of the Super Randonneur distinction from the ACP.
Distances range from 200 to 600 km with a time limit for each distance: 200 km: 13h30 300 km: 20h 400 km: 27h 600 km: 40h
While the 1,000 km brevet with a time limit of 75 hours exists, it is not part of the Super Randonneur distinction, but rather the Randonneur 5,000 distinction. Beyond this, and for a few years now, there has been the distinction of Randonneur 10,000.
